Through heart-searching prayer I can live in the presence of God. His presence in my heart manifests His glory in and through me. Heart-searching prayer is another way to explain seeking the Lord wholeheartedly. “You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jer. 29:13). The real depth of my spiritual life and walk with the Lord is reflected by my devotion and love for God and my desire and passion to be in His presence through heart-searching prayer, seeking the Lord wholeheartedly. This passion, to be in His presence with personal passion prayer, of heart-searching prayer, is really a passion for our Lord Jesus Christ, above and beyond any desire I may have for a cause, a ministry, a mission or even for others. This passion for the Lord, seeking the Lord wholeheartedly, stimulates and energizes my serving the Lord.

Father, I desire to seek after you wholeheartedly and to make my home in Your heart as You have made Your home in mine. May I live in Your presence all the days of my life, listening to Your voice, obeying Your words and spending myself in the cause of Your kingdom!
Glorify God as measureless, incomparable, infinite, and generous Giver. Give thanks that his resources are bottomless (Col. 1:15-17). Confess those times when you have not asked for what you have needed, or have asked with the wrong motives (Jas. 4:2-3). Commit yourself to relying on God’s resources rather than on your own. Ask God to help you see how rich is the inheritance and how mighty the power that he has given you (Eph. 1:18-19).
Pray that parents may teach their children how to give cheerfully and generously to God, responding with compassion to needs in the lives of others (2 Cor. 9:7).
